Default ACE Dash Light

I have a 2000 Discovery with ACE and although the system seems to be working fine, I recently notieced that the dash warning light illuminated. Is there a fluid level that I must check or can I troubleshoot this issue myself? Secondly, the windshield wipers on intermittent setting stop and pause for several seconds before continuing the cycle, I cannot seem to locate the cause of this problem? Thank you in advance for any assistance that you may offer.

Sounds like you need to spend some serious time getting acquainted with your truck, I mean you can't have a 4wheeler, go wheeling and not know where to check the fluids.
If you check your manual, you will see that when the ACE light comes on it is do to overheating. How many miles on your truck, has the ACE ever been serviced?
The fluid reservor is attached to the power steering reservor.
Get back to me and I'can walk you thru how to service it.

Mike, I have this light as well. I have flushed the pump side of the system. cleaned the filter and still the light remains. is it dealer time to read the code or is there a chance that i fixed the problem and the dealer needs to clear the code to get me out of a "locked bars" situation

Jason,
When you say you flushed the pump side of the system, what does that mean, did you do a complet flush?
Is your light always on or just when being driven hard?

I was concerned that the pump was not running and that the fluid was old so I pulled the filter and cranked the engine until the fluid was nearly empty then topped it up and did it again until the fluid was clean coming out of the ACE filter hole. then I reinstalled the filter

Time to have the codes read on the ACE system which has to be done with a test book or a autologic scanner.

Maybe I'm reading that wrong... but I do believe the wipers are SUPPOSED to pause in INTERMITTENT mode.
