Default ACE question - already searched...

I am going to look at another Disco this weekend. How do I know if it has ACE? Can I run the VIN or what do I quick look for on a '03?

I am asking because it is sitting in 2ft of snow and doesn't run currently...

THANKS GUYS-

Just because it's buried in snow does not mean it does not run, it just means they dont drive it.

Thanks Spike-

It is buried in snow because it didn't run and they couldn't move it before it snowed - LOL. It has 46k miles and I think I can get it for $2k, so its worth the drive to look at it. I am taking the tow dolly with a wench and a shovel just in case.

Thanks for your help-

Just make sure that before you tow it on a dolly that you remove the rear driveshaft.

RJ, the simplest way to know if the vehicle has ACE is to look at the power steering reservoir. The ACE equipped vehicle will have two caps. Non ACE vehicles having only one cap on the reservoir... ACE is a great option - you just have to maintain it like all other parts on the Disco.
