Hi everyone
Just a quick question , I have a 94 disco (no mods..... YET and recently when I turn on my air conditioning , it leaks water on my carpet - and the water is pretty hot on my foot
I have no idea about cars and I dont know why its doing this now
Ive had it for almost 12 months , no dramas with it so far


Can someone give me a clue as to why its happening

ok,(1) if you get under the truck, there is a small tube above the driveshaft. It is the condensate drain. make sure it it clear. Squeeze it, and possibly stick a paper clip through it. It is probably clogged. (2)You can also access it from the passenger side floorboard. Remove the black trim, and you will find the hose right behind. Squeeze it to make sure it is clear. You can pull it off, but it is a little tricky to get back on.

I had this same problem and this fixed it. But, if the fluid is green, you have a bad heater core, and it needs replaced. Good Luck!

Is the fluid clear water or antifreeze? I am concerened because you mentioned the liquid was hot.

just so you know, this happened to me last summer. The heat from the bottom of the truck heated the condensation. When it spilled out through the heater vents, it was hot. But in my case, it was just water. That's why I asked the color. But my drain was clogged. Looks like this Disco is in Australia??? Should be warm there now...unlike here..=(

Its just clear - no green , its just really hot and got a bit worried with seeing how wet the carpet was
so Im guessing its just a blocked drain....hopefully
If it is the heater core ,wondering hoiw much I will be up for in $ for it to be fixed
