Default alarm problems

1999 disco 1

ok.........(deep breath)..........(count to ten).........Im trying very hard to resist the temptation to burn this thing to the ground....

the alarm works, I know that much. If I were to plug the horn fuse back in , then the times the truck wont start the horn will start blowing and the hazards will start flashing. this will happen when I turn the key to the "on" position.

the remotes don't do anything. Ive put new batteries in them and they still dont do anything.

central locking does not work.

when the truck wont start I can use the EKA(Emergency Key Access) code/sequance to disarm the alarm.....sometimes.....sometimes it dosnt work and it takes forever to get it to work.

I think it could be the alarm computer, but I m not sure how to act on that thought...

any hep you can give me involving where to look or the best way to burn a vehicle to the ground would be very much appreciated.

I have no idea. Most people just bypass it and then dont worry about it.
I ahve not yet had to do this to my truck but when I do I will just by pass it and then forget it.

ok, thanks.

another question...the larger harness for the alarm comp has a red wire, that is larger than the rest, that comes out about 4" and goes to nowhere. any idea what this might be?
