Default Alisport D2 radiator with SAI coming on 10/18/2021

I have an Alisport D2 radiator with secondary air injection arriving on Monday, October 18, 2021.
To order I had to send an email getting on a list and it took a few months before I was able to purchase. There were no updates on the status during that time, nor an estimated shipping date. The next email was how would you like to pay, then an invoice is sent and after paying the invoice the product was shipped.

What would people like to know or see about the radiator? They are quite expensive, the total with shipping and international charges was right at $1,000.
I'll post before and after Temps for comparison, but if you have questions let me know.

$1000 bucks, bet they offer lifetime warranty except they never get back to you when you do have a problem, my disco runs 180 all day all night with inline thermostat and my $115 rad from ebay

I'm not saying the radiator is cost efficient, but I've had my D2 since I got it new in 2004. Instead of ever buying a new vehicle, I upgrade the Disco.
Plus, I sometimes drive in conditions that really tax the cooling system. West coast areas can be ungodly hot, like 115+ and the ground even hotter, so cooling is super important.

At that price, it makes me consider reaching out to Ron Davis Radiators and see what they can do.

Despite that, I am curious with the build quality of the Allisport unit.

I've been eyeing the Alisport rad but I think I may take a gamble on the ebay knockoff of it. At only 310ish bucks, I think it could be worth the gamble given the costs after import fees and shipping on the Alisport. I'd opt for the alisport if they had one with built in trans/oil coolers like the D1 variant though.

They’re easy to deal with if your local. with material being a difficult to source, the wait lists get longer & prices are going up. Can’t be sure it’s worth it when you could have a local stateside custom build & have it warranted. They’re more known for there larger capacity intercoolers.

Now. Fill it with orange coolant…

My thoughts too. This is why I was planning on getting a radiator from Griffin. You can send them your old radiator and they will copy the design and make you a new, improved one designed to drop-in. I'm sure it's expensive, but probably not all that different in price from the Allisport.

Nevertheless, I am interested in hearing how the Aliisport does.

This was the email from Allisport back in August when I inquired about their leadtime:

"Due to our current volume of orders and material shortages, we are working through backlog of orders. Our current estimated lead time is 25-30 weeks. Please let us know if you would like to be added to our back order list, so we can make sure items are allocated for you and advise as soon as they are available."

I am very interested in the feedback on the Allisport.
