I must say I own my truck because it fell in my lap, but sometimes I wish a D1 had fallen in my lap instead.

And that truck looks tough, and has pretty low miles.

It's a tough call. Your truck also has very low miles. Nice truck, btw.

Since you don't have any aftermarket mods, and if his mods appeal to you and the interior is in good shape, it's probly worth doing.

How's the service record on his truck?

FWIW, my understanding is the 3.9 is a more reliable engine. That would affect my decision making process.

 

Why on Earth would he make that trade? Even offer $2k cash to sweeten the deal? It's because he wants a truck that's 7 years newer than the one he is trying to ditch which probably has some deep issue not disclosed. And wait, you're thinking about doing this trade WHY?

Its got all the mods I was getting ready to do, I just bought a set of these.

And I was going to order some 2" lift blocks tomorrow. And shop around for 16" steely's.

But its the CDL I am currently missing. And want, but will miss the tc and hd, but if the deal is a go, then I would have cash for a bumper and winch!! Can't let that cloud my judgement. Service will be the deal breaker I think.

 

Its got what I want lol, I would take the truck to get inspected. And the CDL, it will most likely cost me about $750 to add it to mine +my time. The deal would only happen if the truck looked good mechanically etc.
