Default Any key fob suppliers still out there?

Looks like these guys are not doing the Disco 2 key fobs anymore https://remotekey.co.uk/land-rover-k...-1999-to-2006/
It was fantastic while it lasted, and I was just about to get another fob for my African Discovery 2 when I saw they've stopped supplying them with the little programmer.

Anyone know of an alternative? I'd love to avoid paying $300 and up for a FOB.

You can use any D2 fob from a wrecker and program your BCU to accept it.

You need something like a Nanocom to program it. You’re half way to paying for it doing this job.

Are you looking for a spare or you have one that's broken? One of my buttons on the board fell off so I soldered a new micro switch in and it's great. I got a 50 pack of various size micro switches for maybe $15 so I'm ready to cobble anything with a tiny button back together haha.

So I just got a brand-new key fob (uncut) from Walmart's site for about $21 or so. Tomorrow will try to have it cut somewhere.... Question is, how or who could program it, so that it works with the truck? The dealer it looks like is not going to touch it. Nor do I have the habit of going to the dealer, anyway. Anyone ever done it?

Your question was answered accurately twice in the other thread you started. Did you just not like those answers so you're looking for a different answer here?

Nah, I guess I forgot about that thread since there is this one. Will check them out. Also, will y'all know if a twenty-dollar key fob actually works ))
P.S. Threads like this will likely also help other people later on, so even if the info is duplicated in a couple of threads - there is no harm, right? But sorry anyways. My apologies.

I got my replacement from this site https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334361769235When I received it I removed the PCB board from my old fob and pulled out the key, clipped the PCB board in it and pushed the old key into the new fob, So I still have a key blank if I need one and no Nancom needed, I have has it now for a few months and it worked every time so happy with it

That's great if all you need is the shell.

If you get one remember the key only fits in the shell one way, I put my key blade in a vice, pulled the blade open the old shell, took out the PCB board, put it in the new shell, the checked I was holding the new shell correctly the pushed in onto the old key blade it took me 10 mins tops
