Default anyone used these?

Doing my brakes in a couple weeks. Did a lot of searching and ended up getting these:

Rotors

With these pads:

Front Pads

Rear Pads

I also got SS brake lines from AB (they're currently on sale), and got these X4:
Screw Brake Rotor Locator 4.0/4.6 (Part # SF108201L) - Land Rover bolts\clamps\brackets\washers from Atlantic British

Has anyone heard of Magnum brakes or had experience with them? I did some research and saw mostly positive reviews...

Also, is there anything else needed to do the job? Besides DOT4 brake fluid obviously... And I will be picking up the one person brake bleeder from Harbor Freight...

You'll probably be fine with all of that. I would suggest high-temp painting the rotor hats black to not show rust.

I swear by those pads, as for the rotors, if you want good slotted and or drilled rotors, spend a couple dollars more and buy DBA rotors, I have over 100,000 miles on mine and still going strong.

the brake bleeder hand pump will be the favorite gadget tool you own, next to the
blind bearing puller kit

I agree with Mike, those pads are AWESOME! Very low to No brake dust! I used Bosch Rotors and work well.

Default eBay rotors?

So how did those rotors off eBay work out?

I'm getting ready to buy a full set of brakes, leaning toward DBA rotors and akebono pads, but curious if those x-drilled/slotted rotors on eBay are any good.

Any preferred source for DBA rotors?

Some of the higher end centric band rotors come with "black hat" or even zinc washed rotors so that you don't have to do this. I'm not sure if they are available for Land Rover or not.... the pic online sometimes are just "samples" of any old brake rotor.

When I replace the rotors on my TL, I'll probably get them because the wheel is pretty "open" and the rotors look like crap when rusted. On my disco, I can barely see the hat with the 16" wheels.

The rotors that I got on eBay have been great. Quality is good and the price was good. I would recommend them. No issues installing, they fit perfect. My stopping power is a lot better than it was.
