Default Autel AL619: Read my ABS and SRS codes right out of the box

Can’t really beat that for $100. I was really glad that I didn’t have to update anything as I am not a windows user. The one that was shipped to me was not a Euro version, not sure that matters. It won’t do what a Nanocom or Hawkeye does, I know. But for an inexpensive OBDII scanner with ABS/SRS capability this is a steal. If you need a code reader this is a good one for the money.

That's exactly my experience too. I made an attempt at updating right out of the box and it was a mess, so I figured "let me just give it a shot" and sure enough, works great for ABS codes straight away!

I am sure at some point I’ll get a Nanocom as the the truck will be 20 years old in February and there will only be more problems. I only put 2k miles on it this year but the past 2 months it’s been a daily driver while I wait for a new company car. It’s usually a weekend only truck but during the past 2 months of daily driving (20 miles a day tops) I’ve had SRS codes, 3 Amigos and the plastic C pillar trim on both sides flew off. If I can limp it 5 more years I think that will be an accomplishment. It’ll be wild to see this thing with antique auto tags on it.

I have the same one, love it. I did all the updates right out of the box when I first got it like 5? years ago. It was a bit confusing doing the downloads, but this reader will diagnose ANY car ever fricken built all over the world...I down loaded all the makes. I thought what the heck.....

Just completed my 3 amigos fix with this code reader. REALLY, REALLY pleased with how this very inexpensive code reader performed. If you are looking for an OBDII/ABS/SRS code reader this is a hell of a deal for $100.
