Default Back again with a bolt problem

Here we go again. bolts bolts bolts...

While replacing the coils, noticed I'm missing 4 of the coil pack mounting screws (where you mount coil onto bracket).. I only have 2 on each coil. According to roversnorth it looks like a socket cap screw and costs $8.50 each (Discovery II Ignition - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts). No thanks. First question, the 4 I have are flange hex bolts.... curious to know if its a socket or flange bolt for OEM -can anyone check? Second question, the 3 hardware stores I visited couldn't find a match. It appears to be a M5x1.0 bolt, but stores only carry 0.8 pitch of course. Does anyone know the correct size?

I'm going to buy one of those thread pitch matcher charts and strictly order online from now on.

Second screw, the 8 phillips screws inside each valve cover. To clean the covers, I removed those plates and stripped many of the screws. They are 6-32 screws, 1/4", but of course hardware stores only carry 3/8" and won't work. I'll order those online. These don't appear to be a rover stocked part number either.

It's been a long time since I had the coils out of mine. I think mine were flange bolts. I thought they were 6X1.0 but like I said, it's been years!
Are the valve covers sold as an assembly, including the screws and plates? If so, I guess they wouldn't list them. You could cut or grind the 3/8 inch screws down to make them fit. Kind of a pain, but possible.

I opted to buy new coil packs individually as the price was less than half of buying a new assembly. I guess with those bolts being worth 9 bucks each I now know why!

Yeah I looked on microcat and it doesn't explode the valve covers into cover, inside plates, screws... so it must be an assembly only.

I'll toss some 6x1.0 into my order and see if they work. Not even fastenal sells m5x1.0 so I must have measured wrong. thanks!

edit: calipers definitely measure at 4.9mm for the coil pack bolts. Looking at the coil pack again, the upper left and right hole isn't even tapped, so I'll just let my OCD slide on this one and stick to what I have.
