Default Bad coil?

Was experiencing trouble codes 301 and 306. I replaced plugs, wires, and both coils. Now I have no power and codes 301, 304, 306, and 307, all are off of the driver side coil. Does this lead me to believe I have a new coil that is bad?
Thanks, jerid

My bet is you don't have the wires on all the way. They should make a click when you plug them into the coil. Easy way to determine if it is the coil, switch the coil from one side to the other. If the codes follow then you might have one. But 1st make sure your wires are all connected 100%.

I still have the old one, which is still good, that I could swap out with. Only problem is that I have to tear the intake off and replace to try it. Definitely heard clicks when I pushed them on.

Did you also check the connections at the spark plugs?

One other thing, did you make sure the coil is plugged into the wiring harness all the way?

Bingo! It helps if you push the connector all the way on before you slide that locking clip on. Truck runs great, actually, better than it ever has. Thanks for your help ralphobell.

Your Welcome. Glad you did not have to tear it all down again to change a coil pack.

Thank you for reminding me of the basics, I'm going to stick my video scope back there and make sure mine are connected properly because I have some weird misfires that just started a few weeks back as well
