Default Basic OBDII / OBD2 Diagnostic Scan Tool

Any feedback on this scan tool? My birthday is a little over two weeks away and my wife is hounding me for ideas.

Appreciate any advice.

I have this one and it works well. Quick and simple. http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/D3110.cfm
I got it for around $75 though. Shop around, you can get them new online for farrrrrrr less than AB.

Also here's a few decent threads.

Thanks for the info but I'm not really in the market for the scan gauge II. Just wanted some feedback on the scanner that I posted above.

Unless you are really mechanical, I wouldn't step up to the next model, you wouldn't benefit from it.
I like that base model.
