Default Best Way to Sell Totalled 03 Discovery

Any advice on how and where to sell an 03 Discovery with major front end damage that we have made the difficult decision not to restore? (It was our baby for 15 years!) I don't have the time to part out but would like to see it go to good use. It has been garaged for the past two years.

It would be helpful to know where you are located, the color, options, etc.

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about your Disco. Where are you located? If you're not willing to part it out on your own, your best bet will be finding a nearby junkyard or pick-a-part where hopefully others can find the parts they need.

Here is the order I would go in ranked for the most amount of money you may be able to get.

1. Craigslist - no fees, may be able to find someone that will give you the most money

2. Car auction site - Copart or IAA. I don't know what their fees are but putting it up for auction may get a greater amount.

3. Salvage yard - I called LKQ one time and they said if you can get the car there they pay $200 or if they come get it they pay $100

If you’re located in the northeast and have 18” wheels with decent tire life, I’d potentially be interested in trading my 16s + cash before you scrap it

Thanks everyone for all the info.
It is located in Western MA- SE model-Zambezi Silver with Alpaca leather interior-no third row seats. I think it has all the standard options plus the Cold Climate package- heated front seats and windshield.
Will get some photos. I'm not the car expert so bear with me- my husband is, but is having a hard time letting her go!
