Default Bosch Icon style wiper blades on DII

Anyone figure out how to make Bosch Icon type wiper blades fit on to a DII?

I got the Tuff Rok DII wiper blades that AB carries - the blade is quite flimsy and fails to clear large patches of the windshield.

I've run the Bosch Icon blades on many other vehicles with excellent results.

Maybe I can meld the Tuff Rok retainer clip to the Bosch blades?

I was actually doing some research on the wipers. I don’t feel like spending the money on d1 arms and I was reading reviews about people always getting the wrong wipers that don’t fit
rock auto has good deals and says oem but I’m afraid they won’t fit the d2 arms

I bought the cheapest ones that AB sells on their Amazon site... 3 for $25... Showed up with Britpart labeling but they are working just fine in the Seattle rain.

I just ordered the Trico. I believe I've used them before and they fit fine. The Lucas and Britpart only last like 6 months for me. Try the Trico.

I've done the WD40 trick for years, once the blades start to streak or make noise just get a rag, spray some WD40 on it, and wipe the blades until they stop coating the rag with black streaks. I guarantee you will be amazed. The blades quietly go back and forth, and wipe the window clean. I've done that for years and unless the rubber is absolutely falling to pieces (yes then replace them) just simply clean them and they'll last a good while with WD40.

WD40 sounds like a good trick.
I do have the wipers from Rock Auto on mine. The front ones fit and work great. The rear one needed some filing to fit.

Best wiper blades I have ever used were by PIAA. Absolutely the best, but they were $$ & I actually had someone steal them... I didn't want to buy another set just to have em stolen so the WD40 trick works great!
