Default bottorf-fabrication

has anybody used this vendor to get bumpers/skid plates/etc?
I ordered my stuff and paid for it in OCT of 2010 and am STILL getting f*cked around by them. Is this business as usual for that company or not?

suggestions?
anybody got any reviews of then?
etc?

thanks

I wish you hadn't started this thread, I also wish you would have read threads pertaining to them on some of the other forums where some have as many as 30,000 hits.
If you paid by credit card, contact your bank and get the charges reversed, if you paid by any other means, prays you get your parts or your money back and it is doubtful.

call the police department there locally and say you will fly in to press charges. hopefully they will pay him a visit and you will see a refund. otherwise you are going to have to eat your losses and go to a reputable company. make sure next to you do your research.

I actually called and talked to them (Nate) a few weeks ago about getting a Little Guy winch bumper. From what I was told, they do production runs for the standard stuff they sell. He said the next production run for the Little Guy was real soon. I asked about the complaints I was seeing and he said that if I order a standard item, the turn around time is 4-6 weeks. If there is ANY custom work needed, the current turn around time is 10 months. BTW - I havent ordered anything from them yet.

That is the same story, one of many, that Nate tells everybody, Jamie, I hope you didn't buy into it. I have a local friend that has been waiting since a year ago April, 13 months with half down and no product.

I have been on the fence since I spoke to him, but what you say is consistent with other feedback I have seen. So no, I didn't buy into it. It's a shame really, they are good looking bumpers that aren't too expensive. If he were smart, he would take off all his advertising (he is advertising on eBay) until all his orders are up to date. I dont understand why he would continue to look for new business when he has orders a year old!
