Default Brake Options

I am getting ready to order new brakes for front and rear. Going to do both rotors and pads. Atlantic British sells three sets. I am going to pass on the most expensive and that leaves a $299 set and a $410 set. Looks like the only difference is Ferodo pads in the more expensive set. They both use the same rotors. Has anyone bought these rotors and pads from AB? Are the Ferodo's really worth the extra $100. Is the $550 EBC kit with pads and rotors really worth almost double the cheap set? I know brakes are important and I don't want pads that will scream at me all the time, but $300 to $550 is a big difference. I don't want cheap, but cost effective.

What is your personal experience with the brake kits they sell?

I purchased a set of EBC slotted and pot drilled rotors w/Green stuff pads for less than $400 about 3.5 years ago. It was pricey but looked awesome behind my wheels and really really increased stopping performance very little fadeI had to use them in an emergency stop and they sold me for life on their products. I was also familar with them for years with many motorcycles I owned. I think when I originally purchased them they were still fairly new for autos.

You want the best pads you can afford, the cheaper ones don't last or stop as well as the more expensive one.

What about the rotors? Are the less expensive ones they sell any good?

Rotors are rotors, just steel.
Pads are whats important.
I should clarify though, drilled and slotted rotors are different than solid rotors.
If you are going with solid rotors than just get whatever.
