Default Brass Bleeder Screw Installed and fits nice from eBay

Hello all,
Last week some folks on here were commenting on a brass bleeder screw after a member mentioned that his ejected out of his coolant T on the trail. He fixed it with JB Weld and a course screw. I took the $13 risk and ordered one from a BMW aftermarket dealer on eBay. It came today and installed perfectly. It is about 2mm longer than the orginal plastic one. but that is fine as there is no bottom on the hole. And it looks fly under the hood. I have a spare T with plug I will be carrying with me now for those fellow Discovery owners that have not upgraded. And my T may crack someday too. I'm curious to know if the threads on the screw or on T sheared off and how common this is. I guessing not very common because in 2.5 years being on the forum this is the only time I have heard about it. Side-note: I called my local BMW dealer to try and order the brass bleeder screw, they only have plastic ones. Is there really a recall on this part? I know about the old integrated hose bleeder screw, but I have a 2003 that came with the T version.
eBay auction: $13 shipped

Now I have an extra T with screw off of my parted out 04 to help out myself or another Discovery owner if there's decides to self implode. I'll be keeping this in my rear cargo bay.

That is what I thought. I know it would put a smile on my face every time I opened the hood. It also matches my Brass fill plugs on the diffs from expedition exchange.

Check out EAC tuning. They offer the brass bleed screw for $4.37, but you'll have to add shipping. These are real good guys, and offer a lot of help to the BMW crowd.
