I found the pic. This is what is used. Cut to size, stretch, staple (with a Swingline, of course) and lay across the cowl vent.

You guys are hi-larious! My lady did not appreciate me coming after her with a stapler. On a related note, I now have a new noise coming from the engine bay: it sure was hard getting the bonnet shut with her legs in there.
