Default Can low octane gas cause P0139 code?

Got my first LR about 5000 miles ago. A 2004 Disco II currently at 37K miles.

Being cheap and ignorant, I ran 87 and 89 octane in it for these 5k miles and now I have a P0139 code. Are they related? And can I fix it with something like BG44k, or should I just replace the sensor?
