Default Can you add 3rd row seats

to a 5 pass Disco? I am not sure about the floor brackets that the seats snap into. Has anybody done this? Thanks.

I would say you can add them. You may need to get the floor brackets and new side interior panel molding from a junk yard. When not in use the 3rd row seats stow and fold down into the cargo area, where none SE7's have a cargo storage box. You may be able to just remove the front cover on that and the 3rd row seat will sit in there. You also need the flip down head rest to make the seats safe for passengers. That requires a different upper interior molding piece. You best bet is to find a recently recked SE7 and buy all that out of it.

I hope your 3rd row passengers dont get car sick because any prolonged trip behind the rear wheels in a Rover is bouncy and jolting. May want to bring some Dramamine.

Pull up your rear carpet and see if the recess is stamped into your floor. If there are plugs or holes where the brackets go. then your set. Otherwise you may need to fabricate something to keep the seats latched down.

Don't do it unless you really need them. I took them out of my 03 because they rattle so damn much.

Yes. You can add the 3rd row. My truck was a 5 passenger and I had the 3rd row added when I bought it.

If the people who put it in are careful, it shouldn't rattle too much.

The catch is already there in the floor and the latch is built into the jump seats. You just need to cut the carpet around the catch and add the plastic trim bits to make it look nice - no plate or anything covering it except the carpet.
