HOSE METER-DUCT INDUCTN DII 2003+
HOSE METER-DUCT INDUCTN DISCOVERY II 2003+, RNN874, PHD000480 - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North

You can also find them on Ebay, used or from a junkyard. Looks like you have an 03 or 04.

Looks like either the air intake hose:

or the intake hose meter-intake (type depends on your year):
INTAKE HOSE METER-INTAKE DISCOVERY II, RNE055, ESR4236 - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North
or
HOSE METER-DUCT INDUCTN DISCOVERY II 2003+, RNN874, PHD000480 - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North

I can't quite tell which part broke from the photo, but it looks like it might have been the stub on the intake hose.

Good luck,

Ha ha - Ralph, you beat me by 8 minutes! I guess there's nothing going on in Austin this morning except checking the Land Rover forums ;)

That was an expensive break.
Call Paul Grant, he will sell you a good guaranteed replacement for a lot less. Make sure you clean your throttle body before replacing that hose. By the way, you may have already found out, the engine will not perform correctly with that break, better park it.

I've seen a few of them do that. On mine, I pulled the busted off nipple out of the iacv hose, and reinstalled it in the air intake hose, from the inside. It's a very tight fit, but you can make it happen and the tight fit should make sure it seals. There is a thread somewhere on this site where someone posted pictures of where they did the same thing.

There is always something going on in Austin, you just have to be willing to go out and do it. I'm about to change out the struts on my wifes 05 Tucson, so thought I would poke around here to delay the inevitable.

Here is the thread with the fix - I bookmarked it since I had the same exact break. I was able to put mine back on using the fix and haven't had any issues at all. Worth a shot!
