Default Can't find a consistent answer...

Just had a local Rover shop replace all 4 oxygen sensors with the Atlantic British O2 sensor kit (Part # MHK100920SKA). Less than 24 hours later I get CEL again throwing up code P1173. Can't seem to get a consistent answer online as to what my next step should be. It should be noted that my plan was to change the sensors myself but 2 of them were seized so the shop had to drill out and tap new holes in the exhaust. They're an honest, reputable shop but they stressed they couldn't guarantee parts that I provided to them. Should I contact Atlantic British? Cheers.

If they were Bosch sensors, many people on this forum have reported that they have a high failure rate out of the box. Try reading the voltage using a scan tool to confirm.

I've heard this theory but how do I prove to Atlantic British that it's the sensors that failed and not something else?

Do you have the iCarsoft LR II or another type of code reader?

For cats, check to see if you have any type of exhaust leak around the cats.

My code reader is pretty basic. Doesn't show me any voltage readings. Could Advance auto or similar be able to tell me?

Do you have a multi meter?

Not sure if Advanced auto or a similar place can tell you

Go on Amazon and order an ELM327 bluetooth scanner and get the free torque app for android - it shows and records voltages.
