Default Code 4114 any help or suggestions

I've got the three amegos coming and going. My scanner say 4114 Historical: shuttle valve switch failure. Historical: electrically supervision.

Now when I do a test in live mode the scanner show the valves opening and closing, so it appears that they are working.

Does this meen I need one of those shuttle valve repair kits that are for sale? or does this meen that I have to do one of those shattle bypasses A, B or C from the top of the page?

I have clear the code but i'm sure it will come back.

I would suggest you follow Josh's directions and due both repairs he mentions using parts from Falcon Works and follow it up with a full 3 pint DOT 4 brake flush.

mike,
your say rebuild the shuttle valve and bleed the system, but I should still do one of the by-passes. Is that just so I dont ever have to worry about it again.
thank for the responce.

I have the same thing - 3 Amigos will come up once and a while, but go away when I shut the car off. The code is still registered though in the computer - this is why you are seeing a historical code, but live data is OK.

I had the shuttle valve replaced, but I suspect that the seals are leaking, and causing intermittent faults (this is just a guess though). When it happens more ofter, I'll replace the seals, and switches, and check the rest of the system.
