Default Considering Hood black out...

My hood area is looking rough, it looks like something has melted on during a hot summer (pine sap?), or the paint has melted in certain areas. Either way it looks weird and its bothering me and i cant get it off. I am going to clay bar it before I make a final decision, but in the meantime I am considering a Vigg Designs 3M hood black out. I heard these are the best quality and last the longest. But I dont know if it will look good with my color (dark red: See avatar). So does anyone out there have the same color as me and a pic of a hood blackout!? It would be great if someone does.

I would also like opinions on how you think it would look... Good or bad?? Also, has anyone else had these little spots come up on there hood? I might add a pic to show you guys what I mean, they have been there since summer and I cant stand it.

THANKS FOR ANY INPUT!

I think it will work with the dark red but I lived in AZ and all three of my black trucks liked to over heat in the summer but it also was 116 deg and up too!!! Just the first thing that came to mind good luck!

The black out hoods are sweet. I think it will look really good with the red paint. I have the blackout on white paint and I love it. It adds something awesome to the look. It keeps the hood from appearing so long.

Hey Cam-
Send me a bigger pic of your avatar (or any other pic of your truck) an I'll Photoshop in a black out for you to get a better idea of what it might look like.

I think it would look even better with an ECU Pirate on the hood

haha! Or maybe a wolf eating a pirate??
Now I could live with an ECU pirate pushing a "tar heel" of a plank... that just might work....
