Crooked rover!!
My 1997 Discover 1 when i started was lower on the passenger side which i found odd but maybe the previous owner had a huge wife, who knows. I needed new pads and rotors so I decided while i'm at it I would replace springs and shocks. I installed some proline heavy duty springs which were supposed to yield a 2 in lift. They did not, in fact height was the same. Rovers north said i already had heavy duty springs and their rating is relative to standard duty....whatever, I felt as though new springs wouldnt hurt anyway so I fabbed some 1.5 in alluminum coil spacers at work and installed those on the rear so far. The lift is nice however the drivers side is a good 1/2 in to 5/8 higher than the passenger side still. The springs were identical and the spacers were identical. Where am i losing this 1/2 inch at. It is haunting me. Is it a difference in spring because it was the same with old springs, or is it something far more sinister. I hate to do something like this and leave it uneven. I am mechanically inclined but no expert help?

Try swaping the srpings from side to side becasue they are LH/RH specific, I dont know if the unladen height is the same but the laden height is different I dont know, but this has happened before where the wrong spring was put on the wrong side and the truck sat funny.
I know its a PIA but worth a shot.
