Cruise control quit working

Interesting. Very interesting. So if he wants to keep the LED brake lights I think I've read he could add a resistor , or two resistors, one on each side, to the brake light circuit or circuits and solve the problem that way, correct? I guess the next question would be what resistor and where.

I guess the led could do that like what Juke said. I replaced my headlights with led and when I turned the high beam on, the driving lights wont turn off. Its all good but the lights were all different colors, one is bluish and one is yellowish. I switch back to halogen but those lights burn too quick.

Most important thing to do with halogen bulbs is to never, ever touch the glass part. Anything on the glass, such as fingerprints, will cause hotspots and the bulb will burn out more quickly.
I'm not surprised that the LEDs caused trouble. It's well known that changing to LEDs on older bikes and cars will cause the turn signals to go nuts because of the difference in resistance.
It was a nifty bit of diagnosis though. The knowledge base of the users on this forum is amazing!
