Unhappy D2 Air shock leak when below Freezing

I am in Denver area. Some reason when Temperature is below Freezing my Truck is down and sits on the Tire (i have a little larger tire than stock)
Air Bag is fairly new. I checked both the hose connection when Temperature was decent, took out both the hoses from the Bag, cleaned and reconnected worked great for the last few weeks until the temp got close to 16 Degrees last night. I hear the pump runs but D2 stays down. Pump stops after a while.

Brainstorming
1. I am assuming the Bags are good because there is no leak with Normal Temp
2. Should I try to insulate the Pump and hoses are near the pump ?
3. My Challenge is I don't have whole lot of resources here in Denver.
4. I replaced the Pump in the past and worked well for 2 years now.
5. Could there be an issue with Valve?

Thank you in advance for anyone's suggestion or help

I don’t know about the D2 SLS, but my P38 EAS also drops when it gets cold. It will stay high for a couple of weeks when it’s warm. I used to think it was the air springs themselves (newish), but I’m more suspicious of the valve block (also rebuilt not that long ago) now. Because it’s perfect when warm, I’m not considering it to be a serious enough issue to worry about.

Update, if the outside temperature in the in the 10's - Pump runs but does not inflate the bags and not drivable.
Just Tested Temperature now around 40 Degrees and it worked.

So conclusion here Temperature in the low 10's = does not work

Ok, my P38 isn’t nearly as bad as that. In cold weather the air springs start to noticeably sag after a couple of hours, but as soon as you start the engine you wouldn’t know there was an issue.

How difficult to rebuild the Valve block? what parts do you need?

Reluctant to repair / replace a third leaking air bag, and dealing with wrong fittings from replacement bags, dumped them and went to metal coils. Surprisingly cheap used and simple to swap, ended the headache with nothing noticeable in the ride nor any additional actions to take care. A year after, have not deleted the original compressor, done anything to valves, pipes or related components. That was the end.

Harv,

I wonder if we can replace the Valve body with this replacement unit

Thanks

I thought about it, few of us mentioned the ride was bouncy.

I assume you disconnected the pump, right. Height sensor is connected with ECU (guessing) and controls the Pump. Would we not get some sort of code if the Pump is disconnected?

If you switch to coils, you need to use a Nanocom or Hawkeye to tell the truck what type of suspension you have. Other devices may also be able to do it.
That gets rid of any problems with the electronics. Very straightforward, and well documented on this forum.
