Default Daily driving a 2 inch lift

Sorry for bringing this up again but I can't seem to find the information anywhere. So I have a 2004 DII with 113k miles and a completely shot suspension (springs are extremely soft and rusted and shocks are leaking) I want to replace it with a 2 inch medium duty lift kit from terrafirma since I will be going off road pretty often. I wanted to put 32 inch tires but, this is my daily driver and I have read that bigger tires can mess with ABS, TC, HDC and put extra stress on the whole drive train. My question is: is it safe to daily drive this set up? I am doing fairly low mileage, again apologies if this thread is redundant.

Yeah you should be good to go. I ran 32s with a 2 inch terrafirma lift with my daily driver. Recently upgraded to 33s with a 3 in lift. 25 miles of highway driving each way and no problems.

33s with a 3” OME HD lift and all good. Yes it’s a little slower accelerating but that was expected. It’s my daily but only a couple thousand miles on this setup.

You will be all good. I would go with the HD springs I found the ride was still smooth

I daily'd my old 04 with 2" up front 3" rear lift with 33s for 8 years no problem. took it all over the south wheeling and driving back 5+ hours.

I do the same now on my 03 with 2" lift and 32s now. No issues at all. If you drive in the mountains everyday, it will jump down to 3rd gear more with the larger tires but that's about it.

these trucks should've come factory a 2" ride height. much improved IMO.

If you want to maintain a smoother ride, don't get E load range tires, which have a heavier duty sidewall for towing/offroad. I don't mind the roughness, but my wife definitely notices.

I have a 40mm lift on mine (1.6") and it's great. Had an old D2 with 2" lift back in the day, it was great too. I think it looks better, drives pretty much the same... albeit with a more... presence and commanding view. You'll be a real Roverino with that lift !

Yup no difference I have e range tires and the ride is a bit bumpier, over rough sections of road (40 psi)

My truck is a daily driver, have had a 2" lift and 32's for about 9 years. I have ACE and have had no problems suspension related. Highway travel as well as long trips, no problems. Lifted with OME HD springs front and rear, new shocks. All good!

Just upgraded the suspension on my ‘04. Went with TF HD 2” lift. I was a little worried that the ride would be rough, but it’s been great. I am running about 350-400lbs of extra weight (front bumper, sliders, roof rack). Don’t know if MD would be ideal on a stock rig. If you plan on adding steel accessories, or carrying a lot of gear I’d suggest the HD.

I have OME lift and similar extra weight, my 03 D2 rides great. Used it as a daily for 3+ years with no issues. Still sees frequent use these days, but I don't drive daily anymore for work.
