Default Dashboard bended

I have got a 1995 Discovery 2.5 TD.
The car is having the dasboard heavily bended up at the front (near the windshield). Probably doe to the heat.
Somebody told this was a fault for which this model has been recalled when new for replacement.
Does anybody have the same problem?

Thanks

Yes, this is a known issue. I am pretty sure you can no longer get it replaced under warranty, if they ever did. You could call your local Land Rover dealer and see if they will replace it. It is always harder to get things fixed on 10+ year old cars. I hope you can find a solution. http://www.landroverworld.org/forums...highlight=dash This discussion might help. Gives ideas on quick solutions, as well as a parts supplier for a repair kit...good luck!

I had the same problem with my wife's 95 Disco. Fortunately there is an aftermarket product which you can lay over the riased edges and screw down. Unfortunately it is much easier to achieve when the winshield is removed but it can be done without.
