Deck the heads?
 

Ok, got a call from the machine shop about the heads from the cracked block D2.

One is 5 thousandths off and one is 7 thousandths off.

Is it worth paying the $100 to have them done?

I paid $400 to have mine done..so...yes do it.

I mean is it worth it in the sense that they are being installed on a cracked block.

You're going to be running a cracked block?

block and heads may be warped the same way..
So,maybe not do the heads and put them back on.
As long as you can put left on left and right on right, right?
