What no remorse??? You were obviously alone, unless Sarah Palin was riding with you, you woulda had to show some feelers and give it a proper burial and complain about it every time you are around her for a week [&o]
All in all remember, cute Bambi's make even cuter sandwiches!
I did not feel anything when I hit it.

Glad to hear all is well.
NEVER EVER swerve to miss a animal, EVER, slow down and keep the wheel, straight.
To many people here in MI end up dead or in the hospital because they swerve to miss a deer and hit a tree or another car.

Glad to hear your rig was undamaged.
Ihit a small doe (60lbs) in my old 2000, no damage to the front bumper at all but the doe was not good. It's rear legs and lower half could not support the weight of itself, so it was flailing around in the road. I got out of my car went back and pulled from the middle of the road and held it down, a guy came out of his house, infront of where i hit the deer, and he said he called to police.
Long story short they should up and pulled out a .22 rifle from the back of the car and shot it about 8 times in the head, on the side of the street and taged it to be picked up.I think the cop was a bit trigger happy, he could have just shot it behind the sholder blade once and it would have been done for but who knows.
How bout them apples.

She would have shot it before he hit it, and then took it home to hang on her wall.
She islike the stiff middle finger to PETA (which im fine with), so she'd be like "screw it, makechili out of it."

Glad to hear you're ok. Spike- one of my good friends just flipped his Montero Sport because he tried to avoid a cat and hit a telephone pole. Luckily neither him nor the 3 other kids in the car were hurt at all, but he's out quite a lot of money from it.

I physically did not feel anything.
I did laugh and congratulate my Rover for its first kill.
Rover owners emotions don't get in the way of a good kill.

RE: Deer
I was driving to Ft. Wayne IN one morning and was passing another truck, it was 3:30am, a Saturn was tailgating me.
There was a dead deer in the passing lane.
I straddled it with my truck. (I used to be a truck driver)
The Saturn hit it dead square in the middle.
As I was laughing looking in my mirrors all I could see was his headlights swerving all over the road and then stopping.
Bet he does not tailgate big trucks any more.
