Default diff lock light on 98 disco

Just had the transfer case worked ondue to a leak (not done by dealer but independant mechanic and come to find out with very limited rover experience UGHH!). This took over 3 days to fix because they could not get it off and when they did couldnt get it back together again. Finally when their "expert" mechaniccame back fromvacation they managed to put it back together or at least I think so.....

Diff lock light is on and stays on......this was not on when I brought it in for service matter of fact I have never messed with it at all!

Any suggestions or is it dealer time?

Rik

PS DMike I would have called you over the weekend for the induction cleaning walk through but I did not have my car!!!!

This might be an obvious question, but is the t-case shifter in the locked position? Maybe the repair shop tested the functionality of the CDL and forgot to unlock it.

If the leak was a front/rear seal they didnt have to remove it from the trk.
