Default DII Cargo Door Subwoofer

Hey Guys,

I can't find a cargo-door subwoofer on RoverParts.com... any idea where I can pick on of these babies up? The one in the 2000 blew.

Thanks!

Pat

PS_ I also need a right front speaker for the bottom driver's door for my 2004. That has some Sub-Woofing capabilities, and it's rattling a bit. I think it might be blown.

i replaced my original subs with some new ones from audiobahn but i had to do some trimming as the magnets on the OME harmon kardons are really tiny. they sounded great when i installed them. now i took them out completley because i installed stainless steel back there instead. i would reccomend upgrading the speakers rather than your other options. one would be buying the replacement from the dealer which is expensive or buying used from a junked vehicle which isnt that smart because its just as old as what you had in there and won't last long...

as for the steering damper, how do you know yours needs replacement?

Well, I assume it's got to be the steering shock absorber thing... the vehicle is aligned perfectly, and it cruises at 85mph perfectly smooth. And if you jack it up, the front wheels are tight!

BUT- when you hit bumps or potholes, it jerks you from side to side.

What website did you order that sub from?

THANK YOU so much for the information man.. you're a good pal!

I have one I just pulled out of my 03 if you are interested. Just lemme know.

Edit: By "one," I mean sub assembly. Works beautifully.

Did it work fine? Why did you pull it out?

If it works and will bolt into a 2000, I'm all over it

Just tell me how to pay you, and i'll tell you where to send 'er!

Oh yeah, works great. Just came out last weekend when I put in my stainless panel on the rear door. Should be the same fit. PM me with your email address and we can sort out the details. Adam

Hey adam, I'm looking to get that stainless panel on my door as well. Do you just get rid of the sub all together? I was looking at it on the website and was like... somethings missing there...
