Disco 2 won’t start please help
Hey guys, I have a 2000 Disco 2 with 91,000 miles on it. I recently replaced CPS, coils, cables and plugs because of some misfires. After replacing all this the truck ran fine for a few days and then after a a day at work it didn’t wanted to start. Crank but no start. I finally got it to start and drove fine with a little stalling when stopping. After I got home I tried to start the truck again and it didn’t wanted to start. Kept trying and I got it start but now it gave me codes. P0300, p0304, p0305 and a pending p0302. Replaced the CPS again with no luck. I’m thinking of fuel pump? I check relays and fuses also. Nothing seems to work. It was running great and then suddenly this happened. Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks!

What CPS manufacturer did you use? Does you truck have SAI?
i would check the simple things first. Usually when stuff like this happens to me, it’s because I dislodged something else (vacuum lines, MAF, spark plug wires). I would reseat all of these.
Also check your spark on each of the misfire cylinders and report back.
Good luck!

I used Bosh for the CPS. Already put 2 new ones on it. I checked vacuum lines and all seem fine. I’m not sure what is a SAI. But if you refer to the secondary air pressure sensor, yes it does have it. Still have to check for spark but the plugs in the misfires cylinder are new and I pulled them and look fine. Is funny how it was working great and then suddenly stop working.

Harbor Freight has a kit for testing. https://www.harborfreight.com/Fuel-I...ter-62623.html
Here's the page from the RAVE

Another thing is that the Fuel pump don’t activate or make any noise when the key is in position 2 at the ignition. I can hear a very vague sound when cranking but nothing when the key is in position 2. I’m thinking more of a fuel problem but I haven’t found anything related. Almost everybody point me to the CPS.
