Disco wheel conversion?

Anyone know if it's possible to convert the Disco I larger 5 lug wheels to the Disco II smaller 5 lug wheels? Also, if it's cost effective to do this?

Thanks!

You can with the use of wheel adapter s[pacers but that will weaken you wheels ability to take lots of abuse.

why not just sell the DI wheels and buy some used DII wheels?

No, cause I feel they are not safe.

Adapters and spacers a pretty expensive. Why do you want to change the lug pattern?

DI's and DII's have different bolt patterns. The rims are not interchangable.

I was suggesting he sell his current D1 rims..get the money..take that money and buy DII rims from somebody

I under stood what you were saying, but he will need a lug convertor spacer thingy to make them fit his truck.
I have seen them before and they are expensive.

ahh ok. I see what you are saying now..this conversion seems like WAY more trouble than it is worth.
