Default Discovery 2 Headight Conversion to Newer LR or Range Rover Headlights?

I have a 99 Disco 2, been working on modding it in very special ways lately since she hasn't been anything super pretty to begin with, bought it to save it from scrap.

Guy around the corner has a parting out 2010 Range Rover Sport and the headlights are mine if I want to pick them up (pretty cheap, cheaper than an disco 2 late model headlights price on open market)

While I like the Disco 2 late model headlights, a range rover 2000s or land rover from the 2006+ years seem to have a lot more flare and work with my overall scheme. Has anyone attempted or have more detail on a conversion they did? Im pretty bold with conversions but I can't really check fitment without cutting out the old brackets. Once you go that far, you might as well go the whole nine yards.

This could be an interesting thread/ "how to".

Sorry, I can't help you, but I'm anxious to see what you come up with.

well I will get some dimensions from it and see if I even want to tackle it.

I prefer the 3rd gen l322 with the 2 pieces from 02-06 (like that link), seems easier to work with, 06-10 are one piercers are fare less forgiving but that is the hand I have been dealt here. They dictate everything and if they don't fit without major mods Im out cash.

If I do in fact get them, I will bust out the camera and do a how to for it but Im guessing no matter what I do I will need to do custom bracket to clean up the install and a ton of cutting.

No idea, Ive been trying to ask for other things here and there since and it seems he may have gotten rid of the bulk of it. He had the thing to test the headlights but I didn't snoop around the rest of it
