Default Discovery Generation Battle

Saw this posted on Reddit and give it a watch, jump to 16:30 if you want to see the conclusion, and if you don’t want to watch it at all just know that the D2 in this video, despite not having any fancy drive modes or lockers managed to get everything done…even when later models didn’t.

While the D2 V8 is much easier to repair. I watch the videos by "LR Time" on YT. They do DIY repairs on LR3s and LR4s (diesels), but that very professionally. What a nightmare to fix them.

Watched it this morning, they did really well. I do think the lr3 should have done better. Been waiting for this since their last video, I enjoy seeing the different suvs compete like this. Would be nice to get a land rover compilation.

I like LR Time as well, I’ve taken some of their fabrication ideas and put them in to my own setup.

It would have been really interesting to compare a 2004 D2 with a center diff-lock engaged. I gotta think it would have spanked even harder!
