Discovery groups in WA
Hey Everyone-
I am located near Seattle and I want to join a Land Rover group. I would love to make some friends and take our discos out camping or four wheeling. Anyone know of any groups for this? I'm new to this- after 5 years of searching for my dream disco, I finally got it! I'm adding a bunch of off road accessories and want to put Onyx to use! Cheers

On Facebook there is Washington Land Rover Owners. Could be a good start.
Last weekend Rovin Rovers (on FB as Land Rover Specialist) hosted a get together in Redmond and some of the FB group members where there.

I looked into it a little. On fb there is the cascade rovers group but they are only showing past events currently. I followed them, anyhow. Yea- I'm looking for groups or people that get together in Washington.

I used to live in WA state. Moved up slightly north across the border 5 years ago. Here are a few clubs which may interest you if you like camping and off-roading...
NW Overland (the founder Dan Cronin was an avid Discovery owner. Brian Hoult is one of the coordinators based in Arlington. He joined us on a BC Roverlanders run last weekend with his Range Rover. Overall great guys):

The Rover-Landers of BC - Land Rover Enthusiasts in British Columbia
The BC Roverlanders also organize an annual Founders Day event which is a gathering of LR owners. We also get a number of Seattle area guy (including Lamorna Garage) who would join us each year to participate:
A few key events. The organizer, Ray and Marianne Hylands, are avid LR owners of a Defender and a few Series trucks:

Thanks for posting this thread! My wife and I are in Bothell as well and would love to see what kind of responses you get. We've joined the aforementioned FB group and it's fun and seems to have a great core group of people keeping it active. Very helpful. Cheers!
