Default Discovery without the wheel moldings?

I have my 2004 SE7 which is missing the passenger rear door wheel molding and the others are a bit sun faded. Has anyone removed all the moldings, if so how does it look without them? My truck is black and looks pretty good where the one is missing. Range Rovers do not have them and look pretty good IMO.

Anyone with pictures of above?
Thanks

Yep. Do a search here and at discoweb.org, you'll find some photos.

I removed all of mine, at first I didn't like it but after a week or so I have decided it looks pretty good, that was a year ago.
The fune part is getting some of the double adhesive tape off the truck, just takes a little elbow grease.

I was thinking about using one of these:

The D2 looks great without those silly moldings. The adhesive is a bit of work to remove, I think I used a lot of solvent and about 2 or 3 hours of time to get it all off and looking great.

Two photos of mine w/o the moldings are attached.

Good luck

Alternatively you can have my old moldings for the cost of shipping.

Thanks for all the input and pics. I think I will go this route and being a black truck, will be even less noticeable. Possibly using a heat gun will loosen the tape up and make removal a little easier.
Cheers
