Cant find anything that matches the description but what do u guys think? I know 33's will put a lot of stress on the stock gears etc. I just think anything under 3 inches looks to low for me or perhaps I'll ponder a 2' with stock size tires..?

What is the goal behind the lift?

Yes, more info would make...making a decision about the discussion more valid. Is your rover stock right now, and you're starting with a clean slate?

Complete stock. I think a 2 inch lift is more within my budget along with stock size AT or MT tires on 16' rim. I'm gonna use other funds to repair rust and undercoat the frame. The interior has seen better days so the plan is to pull the carpet, treat any rust and rhino line the floor. Truck is gonna be used on lite trails and for winter.

2" probably a better choice. When you go 4" and larger tires, you have to make several changes; steering components/alingment, shocks, driveshafts, brake lines, ABS sensor wiring, and depending where you live...bumper height may become an issue. So, custom bumpers are required to meet maximum height.

Personally, my goal is to keep the center of gravity as low as possible, while gaining the greatest ground clearance (especially, on a rig l drive on the road). So, minimal lift and fitting the largest tires possible. If l get some minor (no gouging of rubber) rubbing at full lock, while wheeling...that is acceptable. I'm hoping to go with 285's next time around, my 265's are fine...but gaining another 3/4 inch would be nice.

In Michigan, for any vehicle over 4501 GVW...the maximum bumper height is 29". Dll's are 4576 GVW. Just measured mine, with 2" lift and 31.5 tires (which are worn slight, maybe 1/4 inch) and it is 26 rear (stock bumper) and 22 front (with custom bumper, with winch mount...which allowed me to get a lower measurement). Good thing this thing weights what it does...because if it were below 4501GVW...it would be 26".

So, a 4" lift with 31.5 would probably get you in trouble here...especially, in an accident where you seriously hurt/killed someone. Lawyers love aftermarket guys (and gals) like us.
