Default driveshaft dougnut

Is this where the rubber flex joint should be? I've seen rear driveshaft conversions eliminating them, has this already been done? Not having any prob's, just happen to notice it while under there

The flex joint is at the rear driveshaft attached to the rear differential.

Mine is that way too.
Some say that the '97's and '98's came from the factory with 4 u-joints and no roto flex, I have no way to confirm or deny this.

Spike is right. 97-99 D1's have no rotoflex.
