Flushed ACE pump, still whining.

I had some serious whine under throttle. I replaced my PS pump last weekend which cut it in half. I figured out that the remaining whine was coming from the ACE pump. Last night using the "baster" method I flushed the ACE with 6 quarts of PS fluid before I got a good clear fluid. However the whine persisted. i thought i would drive it the 35 miles to work and see if it helped.
It's still whining, and on top of that the fluid is now tea-colored again. I did not add Lucas additive for the flush, was planning on grabbing a bottle on the way home tonight to see if it helps. Should I just re-flush the whole system and add Lucas, just add Lucas, buy a non-ACE drive belt and just do away with it completely, or live with the noise (which drives me nuts).

Using the drain the reservoir, refill, drive around, repeat method it's going to take about 3 liters worth of drain, drive and refill to get everything clear.
For whatever reason the pumps marked Luk tend to be noisier than the Bar-Luk ones. Just how it goes.
Check all the standoffs and make sure none of the lines are touching the frame or contacting anything. Points of contact really amplify the noise from the system.
Check the pump supply hose (from reservoir to back of pump), cracks or a bad seal can cause air to get into the system. The air caveating in the pump will cause it to make more noise than usual.
Personally, I wouldn't put anything in the ACE system other than Genuine fluid or it's Pentosin equivalent (CHF 11s). The system is calibrated for a specific fluid with a specific viscosity range. Just because it "works" and doesn't throw codes doesn't mean it's right. Response times, bleed down rates and pressures can all be affected. Just my opinion but I would refrain from pouring thick goop in a system that works in the world of precision and milliseconds.

I have run synthetic P/S/ fluid and Lucas, while still working for the dealers with no issues at all. I drive my truck hard and flush that system every 15,000 miles and it is fine.
It is hard to justify paying $35 plus a quart with up to 3 to 5 quarts needed to flush the system, or 2 quarts of Rovers fluid and $150 in labor to drain and power bleed the system with a test book.
