Maybe I'm asking the wrong question...

I recently changed my bumper to ARB and I'm not running the fog lights anymore but I recently just purchased a new 55W driving lights for extra lights on those dark trails... and I was thinking of wiring it with the original FOG lights wires.... so I don't need to make a new switch and still use the original fog light switch... if that makes sense.

 

Should be 55 watt H7 stock

 

Any chance of selling your factory bumper? I've been looking to replace my damaged one from the previous owner.

The electrical manual stipulates that 65 watts each are good for factory wiring to the fog lights. Just as a heads up the fog lights (or rather your driving lights connected to the fog light wiring) will turn off when high beams are activated. Probably not a big deal going slow on a dark trail though.

 

I did exactly what you are thinking about doing. Still working fine after many years.

 

Buying 2 55W HELLA driving lights... it'll work and wont mess up my relay?

 

I have connected aux lights to those OEM Fog Light circuits for years! Zero issues.

 

I mounted 2 Hella Rallye 4000 which I think are 100w. Never had a problem.

I've got 4 of the ARB 9inch LED knock off's and they work great. 200.00 for 4 beats 1k each
