I wonder if adding catch cans would be worth it to keep the intake and pistons cleaner.

@CollieRover they could but I think it largely depends on the truck, if you have worn valve seals it might. But a good baffled catch can is fairly expensive, so buy one of those or resolve the underlying issue.
