Default Frame brace under front shaft keep or remove

When I lift it up on my car lift the front shaft rests on it so out 4x4 it would do the same should I junk the brace?

i would keep it. maybe put some spacers to drop the crossmember a little bit just until the driveshaft doesnt hit it anymore

If you remove it you are weakening the frame, what is needed is to lift it by putting a spacer under it to get better clearance.

Automobile manufactures rarely add parts if they are not needed. If it's there it's for a good reason (structural integrity).

Call rovertym, they can make you some aluminum spacers, worked well for me.

I already bypassed mine. I am in South Florida. If I lived up north or planed a trip up north during the winter I might put it back on.

I'm guess you don't live somewhere that you need one. Most people do, whether they realize it or not.

where is somewhere that I would need one? I live in Western Ma. Made it through the winter just fine with it bypassed. No issues at all.

Where? It depends on where you drive and when. Highway driving in just the right winter temperatures and humidity can freeze the throttle body open. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens.

Do you wear seat belts? It's just like that.
