MIke, did you say take out front drive shaft and drive the vehicle? Is this something doable to have as a permanent option to 4x2 disco? We have a number of discos as fleet vehicles (part of our branding - getting tough to keep it up, though not impossible) and one of them is used primarily as a promo / sales vehicles. If it would save on fuel costs and is possible not to have in 4 wheel drive mode I would consider it. Let us know. Thanks

It's not going to save you any money unless you also install freewheeling hubs which would cost you more than any money you'd save on fuel.
