Default Front Drivers Door Hinges - Disco II

Just a couple days ago a person in a hurry to park there carhit my Disco II drivers door as I was getting out of the vehicle!

Because of how she hit the door the hinges and what the hingesattach to are bent. I can find replace hingesbut can’t find the name or part that the hinge attaches to the vehicle. I’ve cruised my RAVE manual but no luck.

Can someone help on what those parts are called? And how do I replace them? Any suggestions andtips are always appreciated!

Sheesh... Try the body shop that your local stealership uses?

Or better, call the chick's insurance company. Sounds to me like a big, fat case of someone else's problem. But maybe that's just my inner jerk coming out, but seriously. This should not be something you're dealing with, if someone else hit your car.

If nobody else has the part numbers handy, I'll grab them for you when I'm at work tomorrow.

You should not be dealing with the actual repair, as already mentioned, the girl or her insurance company should be paying to have the work done at a body shop.
If you insist on doing the work yourself, just call a dealers parts dept. they will know what you need.

Thanks guys! Although you're correct that someone else should be dealing with this because she has told a series of lie's (even though unbelievable) it has slowed things down to a crawl and I'm out of transportation.

Parking lots on private land create many wrinkles when dealing with insurance companies. If this stuff keeps up I may have a excellent one owner Disco II available for parts/sale

What does your insurance company say, does she have insurance, a drivers license and is Uninsured Motorist manditory in your state, if so get your insurance company *** in gear.

Agreed, YOUR insurance company should be handling this for you. That's what they've been paid for years to do for you.

EDIT: Even if YOUR insurance company needs to pay for the repair, then get refunded by her insurance company later.
