Default Front O2 Sensors: tried everything

I’ve tried everything I know to get the front O2 sensors to release; I can’t get them to break loose. I’ve tried 3 different penetrants; had a mechanic try to break them loose...and I just have no success.

anyone have any tips or tricks to get the damned things to break free?

thanks

Doc

Get a bigger wrench. Use a hammer on the wrench to break the corrosion free

I know what you mean! I replace all 4 of mine a few months back and it was a bear! I was worried about breaking those welds loose! Just keep at it and quit when it gets frustrating so you don't do something dumb! :-)

I ended up breaking the tip off the sensor and putting a full wrench on it. Don’t give up, you will get it

Mine were a monster to get off

Heat and penetrant didn't work for me, cut the pipe out, took the massive impact out, got it out, which it took the threads with so did helicoil and weld back in

A new small pipe wrench. A good one with slanted teeth. Then a cheater pipe.
