yes. ALL ujoints were moving freely. I actually had to re-do one of the ujoints because the centering ball bearings got dislodged from the spring.

Vibration will cause accelerated wear of the u-joints as well as the FWD unit output bearing and pinion input bearing. How much depends on the amount of vibration and where it's localized on the shaft.
I'd get them balanced.

yeah, i guess i'll just bite the bullet. Just trying to decrease all variables before i bring it into a driveline shop. (last i checked, they're charging $100 just to take a look at it - note: that doesn't include the balancing) Is this a normal occurrence? I've read mixed reviews on people having to balance their rebuilt props....

My local driveline shop charges $30 to balance one. Usually turn it around within a couple of hours.
Since you got a vibration before rebuilding, odds are good they are out of balance.

so i brought finally brought the front driveshaft into a driveline shop and they balanced the prop. Praise the lord, i'm up and running again!
