If you are in low range and the Sport button is pressed, you're in manual shift mode so D corresponds to 4th gear. Shift the small lever back into Hi range.
The M&S lights flashing is often caused by low battery voltage. Make sure your battery is charged and that the battery terminals are clean and tight.

Take it out of low range by using the small shift lever.

That voltage is very low. It should be up around 14v when the engine is running.

@zero-one very low voltage I get 12.6-14 at the ODB port but a steady 14.1 -14.0 at the battery. Check your battery with engine off for about a hour then check it running it should show high 13-14.

I have a problem that needs to be sorted in better weather as far as the ODB reading goes

Update: Now TCM voltage is 13.5v... M/S deactivated ... But still the same symptoms.. Still gearshift position not matched between the actual position and the position read from TCM but matched with the position in the dashboard...
Gear switch : invalid
Kickdown:inactive

" live data when I put the gear in D for example it shows on P but in the cluster...." not good...start with below...

check the wiring/connector at trans xyz selector connector? have a spare xyz switch to try? check trans selector position at trans?

But it gives the correct position in the dashboard

so to be clear, when in 'D' on the dash cluster, then you have the 1st to 4th skip? AND the trans is NOT in 'D'....

assuming the cabin shifter is OK, and trans is OK (which is a simple mechanism so unlikely to be the issue), and the XYZ switch is OK, then maybe the selector cable has slipped on the trans selector arm? have to eliminate one at a time...

D on dash cluster and on transmission,, but not on D when get live data from TCM by scan tool.
Yes it jumps from 1th (with kick sound) to 4th and fix on it no kickdown to 3th or 2nd...
Do you think the TCM malfunction?
